HMD has once again raised the bar for smartphone innovation with the introduction of the HMD Fusion. This device goes beyond the typical smartphone, showcasing HMD’s dedication to modularity and user customization. The standout feature of the Fusion is its six-pin connector on the back, which allows users to attach various Smart/Fusion Outfits. These outfits expand the phone’s functionality, adding features such as wireless charging, a smart ring light for improved photography, and rugged protection for outdoor enthusiasts.

Priced at EUR 249 (around ₹23,400), the HMD Fusion is expected to make a significant impact in the global smartphone market. Initially available in black, the Fusion’s Smart outfits will be released later in the year. With its competitive pricing and phased accessory launch, the Fusion appeals to budget-conscious users looking for a customizable device.

In addition to its modular design, the HMD Fusion offers impressive specs. It features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage, it delivers solid performance. Running on Android 14, the Fusion comes with two years of guaranteed updates, ensuring it stays current.

For photography lovers, the Fusion includes a 108MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the 50MP front camera is ideal for selfies and video calls.
