The new Ryzen 5000XT AM4 CPUs that support these boards are the Ryzen 9 5900XT and Ryzen 7 5800XT Series which comes with a Zen 3 architecture. The AMD Ryzen 5000XT AM has Ryzen 9 5900XT selling for $349, and the mid-range Ryzen 7 for just $249. This release is a pretty big update for the AM4 platform, which has been in service since 2016 and with actual pre-Zen processors if you consider Bristol Ridge. The AM4 platform is old, but it still sees there’s love to be spread around in the market.
