Apple’s iPhone SE 4 mass production to start from October

It appears that the iPhone SE 4 may become available in stores in January 2025, closer to the Lunar New Year. Nonetheless, a March 2025 release is still possible given that prior iPhone SE releases occurred in March.

Apple’s iPhone SE 4 launch details and specifications(expected)

In-depth reporting by The Information claims that Apple’s suppliers are getting ready to start producing the 6.1-inch iPhone SE 4 in large quantities in October. Budget-conscious consumers will be encouraged to upgrade to the iPhone SE 4, which has a major redesign and a host of new features over the previous low-cost models.

The iPhone SE 4 may, regrettably, not be released by Apple this year. According to the source, it may debut in January 2025, ahead of the Lunar New Year.

Apple made a wise business move in releasing this model, even though potential customers might be excited to get their hands on it. Sales of the iPhone 16 could be threatened by an early release of the iPhone SE 4.

The SE 4 is rumored to sport a 48MP camera, the same A18 chipset as the iPhone 16 series, which may power Apple Intelligence and a larger 6.06-inch OLED display. Though I do worry how these additional changes would affect the pricing, these are all significant improvements for the inexpensive iPhone.

The single back camera shows that Apple is trying to strike a balance between price and functionality. This guarantees that key functionality is maintained without compromising the iPhone SE’s affordability. Apple’s dedication to high production standards across all of its devices is further demonstrated by the use of the same back manufacturing process as the iPhone 16.
