Kick 2: Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sequel is all set to release in 2025
In 2023, superstar Salman Khan did not meet expectations with Tiger 3 and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Despite the anticipation, both films received mixed reviews and had average performances at the box office. Even this year, the actor doesn’t have any major releases, as most of his upcoming projects are still in production.
Among them, Kick 2, the sequel to his 2014 hit film, is one of the most eagerly awaited movies. Fans have been waiting nearly a decade to see Salman reprise his iconic role as Devi Lal Singh, also known as Devil, on the big screen.

Kick 2: Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sequel is all set to release in 2025
Salman Khan has teamed up with filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala for two projects. He is currently filming Nadiadwala’s upcoming movie Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The highly anticipated sequel Kick 2 is expected to begin production once the shooting for Sikandar concludes.
Although an official announcement for Kick 2 is still pending, it is expected that Kick 2 will hit theaters on 20th April, 2025. According to Mid-Day sources, the director has been diligently working on the script to ensure it meets fans’ expectations. Due to juggling multiple projects, he has postponed Kick 2 to next year.
For those unfamiliar, Kick earned Rs 402 crore globally and over Rs 232 crore in India, marking Salman Khan’s first film to cross the 200 crore milestone upon its release in 2014. The movie centers on Devi, who adopts the persona of the ‘Devil’ and becomes a notorious thief driven by the thrill of it. He soon finds himself pursued by the police and clashing with a gangster.
Salman Khan stars in the lead role, while Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui play significant parts. As fans eagerly await news on Kick 2, the filmmakers have yet to reveal any details.
