POCO C61 Airtel Exclusive Variant Launched in India

In India, POCO will debut an exclusive length of its pending flagship smartphone in April, called the C61 in partnership with Airtel. However, this new variant will come at a more affordable price tag than its initial launch pricing, with some stipulations. One of those benefits will be a mutually developed POCO C61, which made its appearance in March as the heir to last year’s POCO C51.

The POCO C61 Airtel exclusive model will go on sale in India from July 17th at 12 noon on Flipkart. The base model starts at ₹5,999 for 4GB RAM/64 GB storage. The special variant will be offered with an Airtel prepaid connection pre-loaded and 50GB of free data as a limited-period offer. Additionally, buyers can avail of a discount of up to ₹750 on the device. The mobile phone comes in three different colors, Ethereal Blue, Diamond Burst Black, and Mystical Green.

The phone is equipped with a 6.71-inch HD+ display that offers 1650×720 pixels resolution as well. It features a 90Hz refresh rate, hits up to 500 nits peak brightness, and is covered with Gorilla Glass three. The phone is equipped with a MediaTek G36 SoC, which allows it to work well among such elements as everyday operation. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further via a MicroSD card. Under the hood, there is a 5,000mAh battery with support for only 10W charging.

For photography, it boasts a dual rear camera setup, including an 8MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. The device runs on Android 14-based MIUI, providing a user-friendly experience with the promise of two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.
