OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Open Receive Android 15 Beta 2 Update

The second beta update for Android 15 has been released by OnePlus to the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Open in order. OnePlus is calling this build “best suited for developers and other advanced users” since it’s still very early in development.

They discourage users with no or little experience in software development, and even more those of you who hope to run it as a daily driver. It has advised users not competent enough to face potentially unstable software that they may encounter should wait for the update.

OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Open New Update

According to the company’s official post on its forum, Android 15 Beta 2 is primarily geared towards improving system-wide stability and performance improvements. It addresses an issue where the Auto Pixelate function did not work during screenshot previews. Specifically for OnePlus Open devices, the update resolves problems encountered in split-screen mode.

But since this is beta, there might be some bugs in the update. OnePlus noted the problems it has found in this build to date. There’s a range of potential problems for OnePlus 12 users, including issues with music playback and Air Gestures as well as camera mode switching while selecting icon styles in the Wallpapers & Style settings.

Music playback and Air Gestures issues, along with others like recent task cards sticking been split-screen usage, the ProXDR button not appearing in photos, incomplete boot animation, and strange behavior in Taskbar during the use of floating windows may arise for OnePlus Open users.
