China’s launch of the Moto X50 Ultra will take place soon; the Chinese market will receive a variant with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. However, before that, it became known that the smartphone had appeared on the Chinese TENAA website, where some of the characteristics and photos had been published.
The Upcoming Moto X50 Ultra
The listing says that the smartphone has a screen with a hole for the front camera, which indirectly indicates the adoption of the same design as that of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, released in Europe and other global markets last month; a 50MP front camera was previously announced in the Chinese variant. It is likely that the XT2134-2 smartphone of the Motorola brand refers to the Moto X50 Ultra as its model.
The images provided on the listing also show a curved screen, a selfie camera cutout in the top left, and the right side displaying the volume rockers and the power button. The pictures also show a large rectangular rear camera module in the top left corner with three cameras and an LED flash and the Moto logo in the center of the rear.
MySmartPrice provided additional screenshots from the purported TENAA listing which revealed that the Moto X50 ultra would have a 6.67-inch OLED screen. Memory variants of the Moto X50 ultra will range from 8GB to 18GB, and the storage variants will span from 128GB to 1TB. Underneath, the Moto X50 Ultra may draw power from an octa-core processor that peaks at 3.19GHz. The triple rear camera system is estimated to have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 64-megapixel telephoto shooter.
Also, there’s a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies with this setup. The rumored specifications also confirm a 4,365mAh battery weighing 197 grams and measuring 161×72.4×8.5 mm. The Moto X50 Ultra is thought to be the Moto X50 Ultra launched in the Chinese market elsewhere known as the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra which was launched just last month. It starts from EUR 999 which is roughly INR 88,900.
