MediaTek Dimensity 9300 vs Dimensity 9300+: A Comparative Analysis

Smartphones are continuously influencing the markets with new technology that demands powerful and efficient processors to operate. MediaTek is one of the prominent names in the chipset business, which has recently introduced two of its latest innovations: MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and Dimensity 9300+. Here, we compare the two chipsets and discuss their variations that can possibly affect mobile devices.

MediaTek Dimensity 9300 vs Dimensity 9300+

CPU Performance

The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and the Dimensity 9300+ present octa-core CPU configurations. The Dimensity 9300+, however, fares a little better, thanks to the Cortex-X4 prime core clocked at an impressive 3.4GHz. It outdoes its Dimensity 9300 counterpart, which only offers 3.25GHz in prime core frequency. Both of the two chipsets are coupled with a trio of Cortex-X4 cores clocked at 2.85GHz for top-tier performance in resource-intensive operations. Both of them are also fitted with the same Immortalis-G720 GPUs, which offer smooth graphics representation and realistic gaming on smartphones.

Memory and Connectivity

MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and Dimensity 9300+ both are compatible with LPDDR5T RAM, which ensures optimal memory access for multitasking and seamless performance in any demanding app. They have 5G connectivity, which can be operated in sub-6GHz/mmWave and delivers download speeds of up to 7.9Gbps and upload speeds of up to 3.67Gbps. Moreover, Wi-Fi 7 compatible allows for rapid wireless access with speeds up to 6.5Gbps.

Camera and Video Capabilities

Both chipsets can accommodate up to a 320MP camera and an 18-bit ISP. It can also record excellent 4K videos at 60fps and supports 8K video recording at 30fps. Thus, each of them can be a game larger for photographers and creators of video content

Bluetooth and Additional Features

These chipsets also come with Bluetooth 5.4, which supports various peripherals and speakers without latency issues. In addition, powerful AI processing, enhanced power management, and the latest display systems are supplied.
