Xiaomi seems to be gearing up to launch a new affordable smartphone, likely to be called the Redmi A3x, thanks to the unveiling of the model number, 24048RN6CG. The moniker has recently been the subject of an NBTC certification that has drawn attention to the existence of the new smartphone. Although the Redmi A3x had previously surfaced on the certification databases like TDRA, BIS, EEC, and IMDA, the actual name of the upcoming affordable smartphone was not known until now.

That being said, the NBTC certification does not provide any concrete specifications about the already-anticipated Redmi A3x, but the mere fact that another certification has been passed indicates that an official launch is right around the corner. Notably, the model number of the device contains the sequence “2404,” hinting at a potential unveiling this month, possibly in April 2024.
Moreover, Redmi A3x, the device with model number 24048RN6CG has already received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards. Apparently, this smartphone was also intended for the Indian market. Presumably, it was supposed to be better than the Redmi A3. The previous one was released in February to the consumers of India. Thus, A3x was expected to become the newest budgetary solution for customers aiming at cost-efficient devices with numerous features.
Redmi A3 has such characteristics as MediaTek Helio G36 as a processor and up to 6GB of RAMÂ As a result, the speed of performing everyday tasks should be considered sufficient. The scientific developments in the construction utilized a 90Hz LCD screen with 500 nits of peak brightness and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective cover. Based on such promising specifications, the Lake Blue, Olive Green, and Midnight Market are likely to obtain other Redmi A3x that combine affordability, style, and performance.
