It looks like Motorola is planning to go all out in 2024. Here we have the updated Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Naturally, it will probably go by two other names as well. It will probably be referred to as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China and the Motorola Edge+ (2024) in the United States.
According to an article published by Android Headlines this morning, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro—which will probably be marketed as the Edge+ (2024) when it launches in the US—looks to be getting a refreshed yet recognizable design. The rear of the phone now curves up around the edges of the camera module, when there used to be more of a separation.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro specifications (rumored)
It looks like black, purple, and silver are the minimum number of hues that Motorola’s flagship will be offered in. The elegant faux leather texture on the rear of the Edge 50 Pro is what sets it apart; it appears to be more noticeable on the silver model.
Motorola’s Edge 50 Pro, as seen in the images, will include three cameras: a wide-angle 13mm camera, a 73mm telephoto camera with a 6x zoom, and a 50-megapixel f/1.4 primary sensor. The camera reportedly incorporates optical image stabilization (OIS) and laser autofocus.
Additionally, Motorola has registered on the TUV Rheinland website a 50W wireless charger (model number MW-02), wired chargers up to 125W (model numbers MC-1250 to MC-1258), and a 4,500mAh battery (model number QM45).
Regarding the remaining specifications, the photos show a 6.7-inch 165Hz display with curved edges. Next, a 4,500 mAh battery with 125W wired and 50W wireless charging, 12GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor power the phone.
