In comparison to its predecessor, the X Fold2, the X Fold3 is anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The new 50MP ultra-wide camera and the 64MP periscope telephoto camera will be included, but the 50MP rear camera will remain. The phone will also make use of Vivo’s proprietary V3 imaging chip, which gives it the same imaging capabilities as Vivo’s X100 series and allows for 4K 60fps video recording.

The latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU from Qualcomm may power the X Fold3, according to the tipster. To put things in perspective, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was included in the Vivo X Fold 2 from the previous year.
