CUET PG Extension of Application: This time around, a record number of applications have been submitted for the national Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG-2024), which is held for admission to postgraduate programs at the nation’s key universities. 4,62,725 candidates in all have registered. There are 2,144,587 male and 2,47,990 female candidates. It implies that there are more females. On the other hand, 4,62,587 individuals have enrolled for the CUTE PG entrance exam for the first time.
It is known that the CUT PG entrance exam application deadline was on February 10. Up until February 13, there is still time to fix any errors in the application details. As per the previously disclosed itinerary, it is scheduled to take place in 324 locations nationwide between March 11 and 28. There will be 157 subjects covered in this exam. By the end of April, the exam results should be available.
One can be admitted to 271 research programs and 344 postgraduate courses at 179 universities around the nation based on the results of this entrance exam. This year, the CUTE PG test will be offered in both English and the native tongues of every state. Admission to 42 central institutions will be available to candidates who pass the CUTE PG-2024 exam.
In addition to private colleges and deemed institutions, these Common Entrance Test results are helpful for gaining admission to degree programs at Jawahar Lal Nehru University, Delhi Central University, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Hyderabad Central University, and others. Across the nation, 66 central, state, and private universities offer postgraduate admissions.
CUET PG 2024: Test Procedure
➥ The 105-minute CBT-based CUTE PG Exam will be held. The exam has a maximum score of 75 points. For every right response on the test, four marks will be subtracted, and for every incorrect answer, one mark will be subtracted. The candidate’s selected paper code determines the variations in the syllabus.
➥ There are three sessions for the CUTE PG test each day: morning, afternoon, and evening. In the first session, from 9 am to 10.45 am, in the second, from 12.45 pm to 2.30 pm, and in the third, from 4.30 pm to 6.15 pm, the exams will be held. The candidate must adhere to the chosen subjects and participate in the relevant sessions.
➥ Exam topics will be based on the degree curriculum. Applicants must choose the exam center in their home state if they wish to take the exam in their native tongue. People with disabilities are given more time.
➥ Applicants should arrive two hours prior to the start of the exam. The applicants will finish the examination hall, biometric registration, personal attendance, and hall ticket scrutiny processes thirty minutes prior to the exam’s start time. You can verify the exam’s rules and regulations by logging in ten minutes before it starts.

The NTA published the CUET PG 2024 test date sheet in a press release today, February 27, 2024. The exam authority has suggested that there will be a total of 44 shifts for the exam. Every shift will last for 105 minutes. A total of 7,68,389 exams will be given to 4,62,589 unique registered candidates across 157 disciplines throughout the CUET (PG) – 2024 examination. Additionally, candidates were allowed to select up to four test papers or subjects.

Before the CUET PG 2204 exam starts, the exam officials will release the CUET PG advance city intimation slip which will help the candidates know about their CUET PG exam centre city. NTA will release the CUET PG 2024 admit card on March 7, 2024. The hall ticket will act as an important document as a hall ticket to the centre and carries candidates’ personal and exam paper details.
