According to some of the recent leaks, a new model from Lenovo has just popped up as a new entry on the Geekbench 5 database on September 27, 2020. It is expected that the smartphone could be Lenovo A8. Because, a Lenovo model:10041 has emerged in the leaks before, having been spotted in reports dating back to July 2020. We can assume that the market name of this model is Lenovo A8 as it may be a successor for the low-end A7 removable-battery phone. Some of the specifications have been leaked of this upcoming phone, courtesy to the Geekbench 5 database.
The so-called Lenovo A8 runs on the Android 10 OS and is powered by the ARM MT6762V/WB or the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC chipset. The processor will be paired with 4GB of RAM. Apart from it, another leak also suggests that this phone will be fueled by a 4,850mAH battery. We’ve no confirmed information on whether this battery supports fast charging or not. Regarding the display, this phone is expected to have an IPS LCD display.
If we check the benchmark scores of the Lenovo A8, we can find that its single-core score of under 200 and a multi-core score of about 800 on its new benchmark. As of now, we only know this amount of things about this phone. there is also no official information about the pricing or the availability of this phone.
