According to reports, HMD Global intends to release a smartphone under its own brand for the first time. A rumored render of the HMD smartphone has already appeared online. The design of the phone, which features a new HMD logo on the back panel, indicates that this may soon change.
HMD smartphone rumored details and Design
Up until now, the Finnish company has been selling smartphones under the Nokia name. We now have a decent notion of the possible design of the phone when it launches.
The official render of HMD smartphone, which departs from the well-known Nokia brand, was exclusively revealed by 91mobiles. Speculation is high as this is the company’s first release under the “HMD” name, and the official render offers a glimpse of what’s in store.
The IMEI database revealed the model numbers of N159V and TA-1585 for the two HMD cellphones. HMD’s first smartphone, model number N159V, whose name is currently unknown.
The HMD smartphone’s back is matte finished in black, according to the renders. Although the rear panel’s composition is unknown, the lack of antenna lines raises the possibility that it is made of plastic. A flat display with a punch-hole cutout is visible on the front of the smartphone. The renderings’ right side contains the power and volume buttons. The HMD logo mark is also present on the back of the smartphone renders. On the rectangular, black island with an LED flash, is the dual camera arrangement.
We’ve heard about the company’s intentions to release gadgets with the HMD brand before. Jean-Francois Baril, the CEO of HMD Global, declared in September of last year that the Finnish company would shortly add phones to its line of products under the HMD name.
