Xiaomi is one of the market leaders in India and it focuses on the entry-level as well as midrange segment from the very beginning. Though it’s the leader in the Indian market, to acquire a bit more volume Xiaomi starts a traveling store. The aim is to reach the needy customers with a huge portfolio located in the remotest areas.

The traveling store is named “MiStore-on-wheels”. It will cover a specific route and halt in the rural places where people gather whether for marketing or for some other reasons. Apart from smartphones, the van will be packed with Smart TVs, CCTV cameras, earphones, sunglasses, power banks, and more. The offline team of Mi takes just 40 days to give this project a physical shape.

Muralikrishnan B, the Chief operating officer at Mi India said, “MSoW outlets will be fully safe for consumers to visit. With this new initiative and having the largest exclusive single-brand retail network, we are determined to reach the remotest of areas in the country and address the needs of customers, bringing the Mi Store experience to their neighborhood,”

In this pandemic condition where people hardly can go out, reaching to them may help the company to boost the sell more. Though more than 8,000 Mi preferred partners, 4,000 retail partners, and 3,000 Mi Stores are already engaged in this mission.
