OnePlus Ushers in a New Era with Its Revolutionary OnePlus 12R

OnePlus, a leading name in the tech industry, is starting the year off with a bang, unveiling some exciting features of its upcoming flagship phone, the OnePlus 12R. This high-performance powerhouse is due to be officially introduced to the world on January 23rd at the ‘Smooth Beyond Belief’ launch event. Notably, the OnePlus 12R is the brand’s first R Series device to make its debut in global markets.

A Glimpse into the Future: Next-Gen Screen Technology in OnePlus 12R

The OnePlus 12R will sport a truly innovative screen – a fourth-generation LTPO 120Hz ProXDR display. If you’re wondering what that means, let’s take a step back.

LTPO technology, such as the LTPO 3.0 found in the OnePlus 11, enables a phone to automatically adjust its refresh rate to optimize battery life. The OnePlus 12R takes this a notch higher by featuring the fourth-generation LTPO technology. This allows the screen to vary its refresh rate even quicker, smarter, and smoother than ever before.

What sets this apart? Instead of toggling between a fixed set of refresh rates, LTPO 4.0 can transition across the broadest range of refresh rates, including the new 90Hz and 72Hz options. So, whether you’re deeply engrossed in a high-res game, binge-watching your favourite show, or simply browsing online, the OnePlus 12R’s screen ensures optimal performance while conserving battery life.

Powering Up: The Largest OnePlus Battery Yet

Taking things up another notch, the OnePlus 12R will come equipped with the most substantial battery ever seen in a OnePlus phone – a whopping 5,500mAh. This means more power for your extended gaming sessions, movie marathons, or just about anything else you love doing on your phone.

But there’s more. The battery in the OnePlus 12R will also feature SUPERVOOC fast charging and incorporate OnePlus’ Battery Health Engine technology. This proprietary technology helps maintain peak battery health for a longer period compared to other smartphones. Stay tuned for the OnePlus 12 launch event for a deep dive into this groundbreaking feature.

Introducing the OnePlus 12 Series

A culmination of a decade-long commitment to innovation, the OnePlus 12 Series is designed to strike a perfect balance between high performance, power consumption, heat dissipation, and longevity. The series comprises two devices – the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R, each boasting unique features that let users choose what they value most in their next smartphone.

Mark your calendars for the OnePlus ‘Smooth Beyond Belief’ Launch Event, set to take place at 19:30 IST on January 23, 2024. Get ready to witness the unveiling of these flagship phones that promise to redefine mobile technology as we know it.
