The Upcoming POCO M6 5G

With a tagline that reads “The Real 5G Disrupter,” POCO hints at the affordability of the upcoming smartphone. The launch event is expected to be pre-recorded and will stream on POCO’s social media handles starting at noon. An additional revelation is that the POCO M6 5G will be exclusively available on Flipkart and will be presented in a captivating purple shade.

The design details showcase a water-drop notch housing the selfie camera and a clean left side featuring only the SIM card tray. On the right side, one can spot the power button and volume rockers. The back of the device reveals dual rear cameras, accompanied by an LED flash, all embedded in a large rectangular camera layout characteristic of other POCO smartphones. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, coupled with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It may come with 8GB of RAM, up to 8GB virtual RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a dedicated micro-SD card slot. The device is projected to run on MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
