In a previous article, we acclaimed that OnePlus may be launching its flagship model OnePlus 8T at the end of 2020, now surprisingly, this flagship model is collecting some certifications (like BIS, Greekbench, etc). We have got some leaked features and snapshots of these certificates of this upcoming handset from a Twitter post of Abhishek Yadav.
OnePlus has followed a trend to launch dual-flagship in a year over the last four years, to maintain this tradition they will do the same this year with the OnePlus 8T. The phone comes with a quad-rear back camera and on the front side, a hole-punch cutout that holds the selfie camera. According to the renders, the OnePlus 8T may switch to a flat panel.
While if you go by the Geekbench datasheet, the OnePlus 8T (OnePlus KB2001) will be powered by the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Chipset, and unsurprisingly the OnePlus 8T will run in OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 and the CPU clocked at 1.80GHz. The phone will come with 8GB of RAM configuration with the support of 128GB of internal storage capacity.
The motherboard of this phone has a codename of “Kona”. The OnePlus 8T scores 912 in a single score test, and 3288 in the multi-core test.

According to the renders of OnePlus 8T, the phone will be launched with a 6.55″ AMOLED display with 120Hz of refresh rate.
Now to enlighten the camera of this device, the phone features a triple camera sensor setup, including a 64MP primary snapper joined by a 16MP wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto sensor. On the front of the phone has a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner to hold the selfie camera with a 20MP lens.
However, the rumor claims, that the main camera sensor of the OnePlus 8T will employ a newer imaging sensor than its predecessor that will improve the picture quality. The battery of the OnePlus 8T will be supported by 65W fast charging but the battery capacity is not known to yet.
Besides the OnePlus 8T, BIS also certified the OnePlus Watch and as well as the PowerBank. The OnePlus watch popped up on the internet as the watch received IMDA certifications and as well as the Indian BIS certifications and the PowerBank has also been surfaced on the BIS certification website – which hints that these devices might soon launch India as well. But we haven’t got any specifications for these devices till.
