The game is based on the Wild West, and players can have the chance to become a cowboy or a cowgirl. And now the number of present cowboys and cowgirls is more than even breaking off all records.

Sounds amazing, right, well it is indeed, and that is why we are here to tell you this in more detail. So, without beating around more bushes let’s dive in.

Red Dead Redemption 2 New Record

The game of red dead redemption 2 was launched in the year 2019 for the PC by Rockstar Games. In the game, players can be a cowboy or a cowgirl and can live their lives like the one in the wild west.

Recently, we got the news that the red dead redemption 2 has achieved a new player count that exceeds previous ones. According to reports the game got more than 77,000 players reportedly as of November 26.

This is quite a good high-water mark for the game based on an open–world focusing on Arthur Morgan. In the game, players can roam around the vast grasslands while completing their missions.

Perhaps that can be a reason why so many players are attracted by this game. As it offers an experience of an authentic culture of cowboys that fascinates the players.

However, according to others the surge in the number of players can be because of other reasons as well. As per the X user videoteckuk_ the rise in the number of Red Dead Redemption 2 players is because of the black Friday sale on Steam.

We all know that around this time of the year companies and businesses including gaming giants offer black Friday sales. In the sale, they can even lower their prices by a whopping 60% to 70%.

Thus, we can imagine how hard it will be for players to refuse this compelling sale. Well, as there are not good enough reasons to do so, players show their excitement and get all the games they have on their wishlist.

As you may already know in the previous year too we witnessed such a surge in the Red Dead Redemption 2 players. And at that time too it was because of the black Friday sale and almost 66,000 players chose the game.

However, we can give all the credit to the discounts and sales behind the success of Red Dead Redemption 2. Till now more than 50 million copies of the game have been sold and it is counted as one of the top 10 best-selling games of all time.
