The forthcoming Vivo S18 series has been teased, unveiling the design of the soon-to-be-launched smartphones. The series is anticipated to make its debut next month in China.
The Upcoming Teased Vivo S18 Series
Vivo’s upcoming S18 series is set to include three smartphones: Vivo S18, Vivo S18e, and Vivo S18 Pro, with the series officially teased. The teaser image indicates that this series represents the inaugural batch of AI large-model smartphones, featuring the brand’s proprietary BlueLM technology. The series is announced as “coming soon,” with expectations for its launch in the upcoming month.
Accompanying the teaser image, schematic images of the smartphones’ design have been shared. Notably, the design bears a striking resemblance to the Neo 9 series devices from iQOO, confirmed for launch in December 2023.
The Neo 9 series smartphones reportedly boast a dual-tone rear panel, a feature that may not be present in the Vivo S18 series devices. However, the camera module maintains consistency, and a centrally aligned punch-hole cutout is visible on the display. Positioned on the right-side panel are the power button and volume rocker. The S18 series is anticipated to come in Black, Green, and Rainbow-like color options.
Recent leaks have provided specifications for the Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro, indicating that both devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9200+ chipsets, as previously rumored. Additionally, both smartphones will feature a 5000 mAh battery and various other exciting functionalities. An 80W fast charging capability is also expected, a feature confirmed by the 3C certification of one of the upcoming smartphones.
Furthermore, there are indications that the standard Vivo S18 may be launched in the Indian market as the V30 or V31. The Geekbench listing of the V30 device suggests that it might be the rebranded version of the smartphone.
