As AMD recently made it official that its new AMD Ryzen 4000 CPUs based on Zen 3 and Radeon RX 6000 series RDNA 2 GPUs will be launching in October. One thing you should have missed is the short launch trailer that they posted on its Radeon RX twitter account and gives a sneak peek of its updated Radeon logo.
Yes, AMD is changing is Radeon logo to match with the same font that its “Ryzen” logo uses, and this was previously spotted already and we also reported that it will mark a new beginning for the company. AMD’s new RDNA 2 based GPUs will bring significant improvements over last-gen in terms of performance and most importantly use hardware-based Ray tracing which NVIDIA always brags about.
As per the leaks till now, Big Navi GPUs should come with a lot of memory like NVIDIA’s, a lot more shading units to implement ray tracing and huge bandwidth. The competition is a lot more exciting now as AMD is trying to edge NVIDIA with value and if somehow we can get Big Navi at less than $499 (RTX 3070’s price also Xbox Series X‘s price), then this can be a mouthwatering deal as well.
AMD’s GPUs has not been well received in comparison to NVIDIA, however, AMD wants to change this thinking with their advanced RDNA 2 architecture that will drive the next-gen consoles as well. So, it will be interesting to see how AMD competes against NVIDIA’s mighty Ampere and lure gamers, well, if you are a gamer then you have a lot of things to celebrate and choose for.
