Dirt 5 has been delayed eventually again by three weeks. So, now the release date is shifted to November 6, 2020, from the month of October. The game is releasing on PC, PS4, and Xbox One consoles and it will release on next-gen consoles next year.
It’s not the first time the developers delayed the game. The developers have asserted on Twitter that- “DIRT 5 will now launch on November 6 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. #XboxSeriesX and #PS5 versions still launching later this year,” and also stated that “Our road trip just got a little bit longer. Thank you for being part of the journey with us”.
The game will be still available for early access three days before the game’s actual release. So, the users who made prepurchase will be able to play the game 72 hours before the release i.e. on November 3.
If Dirt 5 gets delayed for the next-gen consoles as well, that could mean that Both Microsoft’s Forza and Sony’s Gran Tourismo currently have no scheduled release dates.
If the game gets delayed for the Xbox Series X and Play Station 5 as well, then that could be a major issue for both Sony and Microsoft, believing Dirt 5 is the sole major racing game that’s on-course to be released around the same timeline as the Xbox Series X and Play Station 5.
Dirt 5 is an upcoming racing video game developed and published by Codemasters. It is the fourteenth game in the Colin McRae Rally series and the eighth game to carry the Dirt title. Hoping that the game does not get delayed more. The game will also be launching in Google Stadia next year.
