Jude Bellingham scored a heroic double to earn all three points for Real Madrid in El Clasico, coming back from behind to win 2-1.
Real Madrid were completely outplayed in the first half, and barely conjured any meaningful chances. On the other end, Ilkay Gundogan opened the scoring for Barcelona with a striker’s finish, after following the loose ball into the box and slotting it past Kepa.
Barcelona played at a much higher pace than their rivals, and the Madrid defence found it quite hard to deal with the skillful brilliance of the Catalonians. However, a lack of clinical finishing prevented them from finding the back of the net again in spite of Joao Felix’s skillful presence in attack.

The second half allowed Real Madrid to slowly get a hold on the game, after holding on for dear life in the opening 45 minutes. The pace slowed down in the second half, with the visitors now being able to create several chances to test Marc Andre ter Stegen.
But even then, Barcelona looked more comfortable on the ball than Real Madrid. Joao Cancelo carried the ball into the box to create several key chances, but was unable to finish any of them to extend their lead.
Jude Bellingham then scored an absolute screamer for his first El Clasico goal to get Madrid back on level terms. And in stoppage time, the Englishman sprung up in the box once again to tap the ball in from close range and win the game, extending his tally to 10 LaLiga goals in the process.
Kepa Arrizabalaga also made a number of important saves to deny Barca the chance to score a second, even though their rhythm was much faster than the visitors.
With the win, Los Blancos have now returned to the top of the table, while Barcelona remain third, four points behind at 24.
