Tiger Woods could make a return to professional gold soon at the Hero World Challenge in November. The tournament will be held in the Bahamas, and will allow the veteran to compete without exerting too much on his body.

The 47-year-old has not competed since the Masters Tournament in April 2023, following an injury to his heel which forced him to withdraw. There is one spot left at the Hero World Challenge, and many speculate that the icon could finally make a comeback to the course.

Tiger Woods to return to professional golf in November?

Woods hasn’t competed at the World Challenge since 2019, even though he has hosted it. He spent 683 weeks as the number 1 in the world, but has since taken a gap and has been sporadically seen on a golf course.

He has also been assisting his 14-year-old son Charlie as a caddie, guiding him as to which shots to play and which clubs to use.

The injuries that Tiger Woods sustained in a car accident in 2021 also played a part, with surgeries to follow. Although his foundation has hosted the tournament every year, it is uncertain whether we could see him back on the grass once again.
