Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, which are anticipated successors to the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro unveiled in December last year. While the official launch of the Xiaomi 14 series is yet to be confirmed, leaked images of the Xiaomi 14 Pro have emerged online, providing us with a preliminary glimpse of this flagship device.
These leaked images reveal a flat display with a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout for the front camera. The device is expected to feature a 6.6-inch screen and a quad rear camera system.
The Leaked Xiaomi 14 Pro
Leaked images of the Xiaomi 14 Pro, shared by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) and 91Mobiles, exhibit notable distinctions when compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The forthcoming Xiaomi device features a front-facing camera within a hole-punch cutout at the center of its flat display, diverging from the curved screen of its predecessor. The device is reported to boast a 6.6-inch flat AMOLED 2.5D display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The images also suggest a quad-camera configuration on the rear. The square-shaped camera housing of the Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to accommodate multiple sensors. The device’s dimensions are anticipated to be 161.6 x 75.3 x 8.7mm, with a camera module height of up to 13.1mm. Additionally, the left side of the device features power and volume buttons. The Xiaomi 14 Pro is rumored to include dual speakers.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is slated to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and is expected to be equipped with a 4,860mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It is likely to house a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In comparison, the Xiaomi 13 Pro was launched in India with a price tag of ₹79,999 for the sole 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. It featured a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It was powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and sported a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera. Additionally, it packed a 4,820mAh battery and supported 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
