Prior to the World Cup 2023, Sony announced the PS5 Cricket 24 Bundle prior to the game’s actual official launch on October 5. Though can be found online to order, Sony did manage to organize a dedicated event for this launch and invited media to try out the bundle for the very first time even before the game launched.
Yes, we did participate in the event and we did enjoy playing the new Cricket 24 exclusively on the Sony PlayStation 5.
SONY PS5 Cricket 24 Bundle Launch Event Details
As you saw, this new Cricket 24 will have over 200 players and while some Indian players are not licensed the gameplay and graphics is top-notch. Also, you have IPL teams available at your disposal to play head-to-head matches, indeed having the most complete video game simulation of cricket seen to date.
Both players from England and Australia have been licensed and a variety of leagues, like the Weber WBL, The Hundred, the Caribbean Premier League, etc. are available due to the partnership.
However, we like the extensive graphics and customizations players can do, this new Cricket 24 has a lot to offer to the Indian cricket fans, though it would be better if the Indian players were licensed, nevertheless, in future we expect more from the game. The big launch of this bundle and the game itself prove how serious Sony is towards the upcoming Cricket World Cup 2023 and cricket fans who love to game will definitely like to go for this bundle.
We did love the player graphics and their lifelike gameplay, from playing at any cricket ground you want to play with female cricket players, the game has a lot to offer for cricket fans.
If you already have a PS5, you can just purchase the game and start playing right away, being specially customized for PS5, the experience you will have is just next-level. Also, if you do not have a PS5, this PS5 Cricket 24 bundle which has both the console and the Cricket 24 could be the best choice for you!
