Jesse Lingard is training with Saudi Arabian side Al Ettifaq for a one-month period, after leaving Nottingham Forest as a free agent. The former Manchester United midfielder was unable to extend his deal with Forest or find a new club during the transfer window, and is now in Saudi Arabia.
There are no guarantees as to whether he will sign a deal with Al Ettifaq to play for them. The option will be evaluated at the end of the one-month period, but it is not obligatory on the side of the club. As things stand, his future is up in the air.

There were rumours that Jesse Lingard could make a return to West Ham United, after flourishing in a brief loan spell with them a few years ago. But, the Hammers turned down the opportunity to sign the midfielder as they are happy with their current squad.
Steven Gerrard was appointed the manager of the club in the summer after initially turning them down. He then signed Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson to bolster their squad while also adding Demarai Gray, Moussa Dembele, Jack Hendry and Gini Wijnaldum.
Al Ettifaq are currently fourth in the table, earning 16 points from seven games. They are currently behind Al Ittihad, Al Hilal and Al Taawoun in the table.
