The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is slated to appear early next year, with three variants as usual. According to reports, the Ultra model will be the only one to receive the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor globally, while the remainder would be limited to the Exynos 2400 SoC. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series has now been certified by China’s 3C, revealing the model number and fast charging data.
According to the listing, the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 will be model SM-S9210 and will feature 25W fast charging. The model numbers SM-S9260 and SM-S9280 for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and S24 Ultra are expected to be 45W fast charging, respectively. The lineup will, as predicted, support 5G connectivity. The 3C certification confirms that the S24 series will not receive any fast charging advancements over the Galaxy S23 from this year.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is said to have a titanium chassis like the Apple iPhone 15 Pro variants.
The Galaxy S24 Plus may have a 6.65-inch screen, as opposed to the S23’s 6.6-inch screen. The other two models are also slated to receive slight size increases. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to be the only model to receive the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with other versions receiving the Exynos 2400 processor only in select markets.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 series should ship with the OneUI 6 custom skin based on Android 14. At the back, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to have a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 10MP periscope lens. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could have a 5,100mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24 Plus could have a 4,900/5,000mAh battery unit.
