Wolves winger Daniel Podence has returned to Olympiacos on a one-year loan deal. The club has also confirmed the arrival of former Hertha Berlin and Inter Milan striker Stefan Jovetic on a free transfer.

The Portuguese winger rejoins the club after three years amidst rumours that he could move to Celtic to replace Jota. However, he has instead signed for his former club as part of a deadline day deal and will be spending the 23/24 season with them.

Podence spent one and a half years with Olympiacos in his first spell, making 68 appearances in which he scored 13 goals and provided 14 assists. And now, he is back for a second spell hoping to further his career.

The Greek side have also confirmed the arrival of Stevan Jovetic on a free transfer. The forward is now taking up a new challenge in his career after featuring for some of the biggest names across Europe. He most recently played for Hertha Berlin and left them this summer after his deal expired and they were relegated.

The record Greek champions have had an impressive summer transfer window where they have reinforced their squad. They have also added Omar Richards and Gustavo Scarpa from Nottingham Forest on a loan deal alongside Vicente Iborra and Quini.
