The Jio True5G developer programme was unveiled by Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, on August 28 during the company’s 46th Annual General Meeting. This programme combines its edge computing capabilities, 5G network, and a wide range of apps and services.
In an effort to accelerate industry transformation through the deployment of the Jio True5G suite, he also unveiled the Jio True5G lab.
According to Ambani, the True 5G platform would give businesses the ability to activate network slices as needed, deploy apps on Jio’s multi-access edge-compute locations, and access a wide range of partner applications through a single suite.
The chairman also mentioned that businesses can gain access to more sophisticated network slicing options, which will enable them to regularly create and improve network slices. This will improve their network resource management as a result.
Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Jio, shared his vision of creating a game-changing platform for Indian enterprises, small businesses, and tech startups. This platform aims to revolutionize their engagement with the digital landscape, fostering innovation, faster product launches, and cost efficiency.
