Bethesda, the company of Starfield, formally announces the dates for the game’s international release. It should be noted that two significant dates are connected to these times: the official release date of September 5 or 6, which varies depending on the time zone, and Starfield’s early access day, which starts late August 31 or early September
There are three ways to “early access” Starfield for those who are interested. Either the Starfield Constellation Edition, the Starfield Premium Edition Upgrade, or the Starfield Premium Edition must be purchased by the player. There are five-day early access options in each edition.
To clear up any misunderstandings, it should be noted that the release times for Starfield’s early access day and general release date are the same, hence the times shown below apply to both dates.
The game will begin streaming for those in the United States at 5 PM PT for those on the West Coast and 8 PM PT for those on the East Coast. On either matching date, people in the Central Time Zone and those in the Mountain Time Zone will be able to play at 7 PM and 6 PM, respectively.
It will be interesting to observe how the launch proceeds because both debut dates are expected to see a huge influx of new gamers. Since Fallout 76 five years ago, Bethesda hasn’t released a new original game or intellectual property in twenty years. As evidenced by the fact that Skyrim is still in demand in the industry more than ten years after its release, it’s not unusual for a Bethesda game to represent a turning point for the sector.
Starfield will be available on September 6, 2023, for PC and Xbox Series X/S. The early access period begins on August 31.
