72 Hoorain Release Date, Plot, Cast, and Expectations

After facing several controversies, the trailer of the film “72 Hoorain” has finally been released on YouTube. The movie follows the success of “The Kashmir Files” and “The Kerala Story,” but its storyline has garnered criticism in certain states. The teaser of “72 Hoorain” portrays brutal terror attacks in India, leading to debates and concerns.

Initially, it was reported that the controversial Bollywood film’s trailer did not receive approval from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which also refused to grant it an A certificate.

Acclaimed director Sanjay Puran Singh, who has dedicated almost four years to making this film, expressed his eagerness for the audience to experience it. The movie delves into a controversial topic, touching on terrorism and how terrorist organizations manipulate individuals.

As anticipation builds, the controversy surrounding the film has already ignited. Some claim it to be mere propaganda, while others await its release to determine if it is based on true events. Only when the movie hits theaters will the truth behind these claims be revealed, and audiences can form their own judgments.

72 Hoorain: Plot

The plot of the movie revolves around the manipulation of Muslim teenagers by leaders of various terrorist organizations, enticing them with promises of paradise and 72 hoors to carry out acts of jihad against non-Muslims and commit acts of violence. This subject matter is highly sensitive, as it raises concerns about potential divisions and conflicts among communities. The film delves into the intricate dynamics of this issue, highlighting the impact it can have on society and sparking discussions about the complex relationship between faith, extremism, and the consequences of radicalization.

In a recent interview, Ashoke Pandit, co-producer of the upcoming film 72 Hoorain, expressed his concern over the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) denying a censor certificate for the movie’s trailer. Pandit called on the CBFC to provide an explanation for their decision and stated that if the panel made an error, they should apologize. He further questioned the CBFC chairperson, Prasoon Joshi, regarding the contradiction between granting a censor certificate to the film itself, which shares similar shots with the trailer, and the denial of certification for the trailer. Pandit urged Joshi to clarify the discrepancy and shed light on the issue.

Ashoke Pandit demands an explanation from CBFC for their decision

Ashoke has spoken with the news agencies in Hindi, “It has become a matter of discussion since you have given cuts to our trailer and asked us, ‘You cut these shots and then we will give you A certificate’. As producers, filmmakers of this industry, we have asked a very genuine question. The film to which you have given a censor certificate, which won a national award and was liked, it is from that that the shots have been taken in the trailer. If you liked and clapped for the same shots in the film, then what is the problem with the trailer? We need the answer. They have to answer this question.”
