Intel Arc A770 16GB Limited Edition GPU is no more

Intel last week canceled its premier discrete graphics solution for desktops, the Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition graphics card, in an unexpected move. Intel’s partners will continue to provide Arc A770 AIBs with 8 GB and 16 GB of GDDR6 memory.

Intel abruptly discontinues its Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition graphics card: the business cited June 20, 2023, as the last product order date and the last product shipment date, implying that it no longer manufactures and distributes these boards.

These products will be unavailable as soon as the remaining stock in the channel is depleted. Apparently, the product was a Limited Edition, as it was EOLed after less than a year on the market.

A quick search on Amazon and Newegg reveals that the Intel Arc A770 LE board can be found for as much as $497.35 on Amazon and is no longer available on Newegg.

Meanwhile, Acer’s Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A770 16 GB AIBs are available in three CPU + A770 graphics card combos from Newegg.

Intel’s Arc A750 Limited Edition and Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition graphics cards were designed to provide the greatest possible experience with an all-new GPU family. Furthermore, they indicated Intel’s desire for its Arc A700-series products to compete in the mainstream market segment without the use of elaborate and large cooling systems. Indeed, Intel’s Arc A750 LE and Arc A770 LE boards are tiny, but they give all of the performance and capabilities that the company’s ACM-G10 GPU has to offer.
