Arsenal have agreed a deal worth £60 million upfront plus £5 million in add-ons for Kai Havertz. The Germany international has agreed to a five-year contract, and his arrival has now been confirmed by the club.
Havertz made it clear that he wants to play for Arsenal, which made it easier for the move to go through. And now, he has become the first new signing for Mikel Arteta’s side this summer.
Arsenal transfer news: West Ham accept £105m offer for Declan Rice!
Declan Rice is set to join Arsenal, with West Ham accepting the club record bid worth £105 million to sign the midfielder, which would also make him the most expensive Englishman of all-time.
Personal terms are not an issue, and the Gunners are set to close the deal imminently for Rice. They were threatened by a bid from Manchester City to sign the player, but the treble winners have withdrawn their interest, leaving Arsenal free to sign their top target.

Arsenal are set to make an opening offer for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia soon. Xhaka has agreed to sign for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, and a €15 million deal is in place between the two clubs for the Swiss international to exit. In addition, Thomas Partey is also expected to leave the club, with several clubs interested in signing him.
Partey’s contract runs out in 2025, and there have been internal discussions over sanctioning an exit for him. The midfielder has received proposals from Saudi Arabia, but prefers a move to Juventus as things stand. An important bid will be needed for Arsenal to sell him as things stand.
