Motorola is gearing up to launch its Razr 40 series of foldable devices in India, with a specific timeline now in place. The company recently announced that its upcoming Razr 40 Ultra foldable would be available for purchase on Amazon.
Additionally, the product page on Amazon confirms that a detailed reveal of the device’s specifications will take place on June 22, along with the official launch date in India. Both the Razr 40 Ultra and the more affordable Razr 40 models are listed on Motorola’s India website.
According to the information provided on the official Motorola India website, both Motorola Razr 40 series foldable will be introduced in India. This includes the high-end Motorola Razr 40 Ultra (also known as the Razr Plus) and the more budget-friendly Motorola Razr 40 (also known as the Razr) models. It remains uncertain whether both devices will be launched simultaneously, as Motorola has mainly focused its advertising and promotion on the high-end Razr 40 Ultra in India, with minimal information available on the Razr 40, apart from its listing on the website.
In a recent leak, it was revealed that only the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra had received the BIS certification in India. The Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40 were initially launched in China on June 1 and later introduced in the US as the Razr Plus and 2023 Razr, respectively. Although the devices have different names in various markets, their specifications remain consistent.
