OnePlus Ace 2 Pro: All We Need to Know
Rumors are circulating about OnePlus preparing to launch a new addition to its Ace series of smartphones. Previously, the company introduced the Ace 2 in India as the OnePlus 11R 5G. Now, it appears that the global release of the Ace 2V from China will take place under the name Nord 3.
In addition to these devices, OnePlus seems to be gearing up for another premium offering known as the Ace 2 Pro, although no official details have been disclosed. However, recent leaks have provided some insight into the hardware specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
Everything about the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro
According to reliable a tipster, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the same chipset featured in OnePlus’ flagship phone for 2023, the OnePlus 11. The tipster also mentioned the presence of a large vapor chamber system for effective heat dissipation within the device.
In terms of camera capabilities, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is anticipated to share its primary camera sensor with the OnePlus flagship family. This sensor is rumored to be a 50MP Sony IMX890, equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). While it is likely that the device will sport a triple-camera setup on the rear, details regarding the other two camera sensors were not disclosed by the tipster.
The Ace 2 Pro is expected to feature a curved display with a 1.5K resolution and high PWM dimming. As with other OnePlus devices, the display will likely be based on an AMOLED panel.
Notably, the charging technology is expected to be a highlight of the Ace 2 Pro. Digital Chat Station suggests that OnePlus may offer two charging options for the phone. The base configuration is rumored to support 100W fast charging, while another variant may provide even faster 150W charging. Both variants are expected to house a substantial 5000mAh battery.
