Liverpool was so dominant from the very start of the 2019-20 Premier League season that they picked up 61 points from the first 21 games of the season. Not only it’s a record in the Premier League but also in the top five European leagues.

Most home wins in a row

The record was previously held by Manchester City who managed to win 20 home games in a row from 2011 to 2012. Liverpool has broken the record this season. They have won 24 times at their home ground, Anfield, turning it into a fortress.

Biggest lead at the top

Liverpool won the Premier League by a massive 25-points lead over second-placed Manchester City. This is the biggest lead ever in English top-flight history.

Fastest to 30 wins

Liverpool won their 30th match this season against Brighton & Hove Albion by 3-1 on 8th July. They took 34 matches to record 30 Premier League wins in a season.

Earliest Premier League title win

The record was previously held by Manchester United in 2000-01 and then Manchester City in 2017-18. They won the league with five matches remaining. Liverpool has broken this record by winning the 2019-20 Premier League title with seven matches remaining.

Liverpool has now extended their record to 110 points from 38 matches ending in February 2020.
