Joshua Kimmich is reportedly unsettled at Bayern Munich, and is considering his options ahead of the summer 2023 transfer window. The midfielder is approaching the last two years of his contract, and has attracted offers from several clubs in Europe.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG are all keeping tabs on the Germany international. Madrid in particular have been linked with a transfer next season, since there is little chance that Bayern will sell him this summer.
Joshua Kimmich attracting interest from several European clubs this summer
The 28-year-old currently captains the club in the absence of Manuel Neuer, and has established himself as one of the top performers of the team. Club officials are keen to hand Joshua Kimmich a new deal, but talks have not taken place as of yet.
During his time with the club so far, he has won the Bundesliga title seven times. In 2020, he was one of the vital members of the squad that won the sextuple under Hansi Flick. Bayern are adamant that they will not sell the player this summer, and are keen to have him tied down.
Bayern are close to winning an eleventh straight Bundesliga this year, and are locked in a battle with Borussia Dortmund. They are leading by one point, and the league title is the only shot that they have at avoiding a trophyless season.
