The National Poker Series India (NPS) 2023, one of India’s most esteemed poker tournaments hosted on PokerBaazi, concluded its 18-day event with an exhilarating finish. Three top poker talents from India battled it out for glory and a ticket to Las Vegas to represent the country on a global stage.
Record Participation Marks the Conclusion of National Poker Series India
Vikram Mishra from Darbhanga, Bihar emerged victorious, outpacing intense competition with a total of three gold medals and two silver medals, registering 40 points on the Medal Leaderboard. Anirban Das from Haryana secured the second spot, pipping Uttar Pradesh’s Abdul Aziz Ansari, after both players registered a tally of three golds and a silver medal, but were separated by the number of hands played between them.
The 2023 edition broke previous records, registering a 25% increase in the total number of entries, with over 1.25 lacs participants from across the country. Delhi secured the top spot with 55 medals, followed by Maharashtra with 51 medals. Uttar Pradesh and Haryana held the third and fourth positions, respectively.
