The wait is over Shahid Kapoor’s most awaited action film ‘Bloody Daddy’ has unlocked the official teaser. Tiger Zinda Hai’s Ali Abbas Zafar has directed the film the power-pack action thriller represents Shahid in a Rudra avatar, knocking down multiple goons in a hotel throughout the night. The teaser also gives a glimpse of Sanjay Kapoor and Diana Penty.
Bloody Daddy: Plot
Bloody Daddy is marked as the first collaboration between Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor. The teaser shows Shahid Kapoor in a black suit entering a dark hallway of a hotel, and then proceeding to take down goons with a knife. The latest action drama then proceeds to expose how the character of Shahid becomes eager to take revenge for a personal hemorrhage. The teaser speeds off to show how the action revolves around the “cops, family, and lots and lots of blood.” Shahid shared the teaser on his Instagram and wrote in the caption: “Get ready for a BLOODY good time at the movies. #BloodyDaddy June 9, 2023, on @officialjiocinema.”
The teaser generated a significant response on social media, with many people noting the similarities between the teaser and Shahid’s character with the films from the John Wick franchise, starring Keanu Reeves. Comments such as “Desi John Wick” and “John Wick vibes” were made, and a fan mentioned that it appeared to be a blend of Rocky Handsome and John Wick. In an interview with PTI, Shahid expressed his pleasure in performing action sequences in the film. He mentioned that it was a fun experience and he thoroughly enjoyed working with Ali, who has a great understanding of the action genre. However, the main concern now is how to balance the scale of a film released on OTT platforms with the expectations of a theatrical release. Shahid concluded by stating that it has been an amazing journey so far. “Bloody Daddy” is slated to be an official adaptation of the 2011 French film “Nuit Blanche.”

Jio Studios has made the announcement of the release date of the movie was made at a recent event named Infinite Together. The film is aiming for a direct digital release on Jio Cinemas from 9th June 2023.
