BGMI return date to India: Has Krafton given any updates yet?

It’s highly likely that the lengthy wait for Battlegrounds Mobile India, also known as BGMI, to return will soon be over. Recently, a News18 report appeared on the scene and mentioned that the decision to lift the ban on the title had already been made. The same report also claims that the Government of India will recheck the title three months after it has been banned, provided that any necessary revisions have been made.

With several content creators making bold claims and reports suggesting a potential comeback, the recent rumours surrounding Battlegrounds Mobile India have grown more intense. As was already mentioned, a report from News18 yesterday that shared a significant update on the potential lifting of the ban on the game exploded the internet.

According to the report, it was decided to lift the BGMI ban with a few modifications during a meeting. But for at least three months, GOI will carefully examine the title to see if it complies with the Government’s rules and regulations.

BGMI, developed by KRAFTON, has not yet provided a date for when it will be unbanned. Therefore, players should hold off until the official announcement from KRAFTON or the Indian government.

In other news, Ashutosh “Punkk” Singh, a professional BGMI player emphasised that only large organisations receive invitations to competitions from BGMI. According to him, there are fewer new stars that reach the peak, which reduces the possibility of ecosystem development.

By taking part in other games, players can improve their chances. Even though there are millions of participants in BGMI, only a small number stand out. The only large organisations invited to apply are those.

People who work hard and meet the requirements somehow fall short of the top and are then disappointed at not having opportunities. Possibilities will rise as more titles create a larger esports environment. Punkk also assured his viewers during the same broadcast that, after the BGMI ban in the Indian market is lifted, he will start playing the game again.
