Coming to bat to chase a total of 189, the Indian innings shooked a bit, but thanks to KL Rahul, who stood there till the end and guided his team to victory. Lately, he has been a target on social media owing to his long-term off-form. Friday’s match-winning inning will surely give him and the relief of his fans as they’ll look forward to more such amazing knocks from Rahul. He was unbeaten for 75.

Another thing worth mentioning is Ravindra Jadeja’s crucial company to Rahul at a shake stage from where the match could have turned towards the Aussies. Thanks to their 108 runs, a massive partnership helped India wrap it up with 10.1 overs to spare. Jadeja also took two wickets while bowling.

What did KL Rahul say?

In the post-match talk, Rahul revealed that batting with Jadeja was fun and that good footwork can help to solve things. Appreciating Jadeja, Rahul also said that Jadeja is a smooth runner between the wickets, and it’s good to share the pitch with him. Rahul also mentioned that the ball was moving around, and he had a good time at the Wankhede stadium.
