Asus recently revised its selection for Chromebooks in the lower price range. The new Chromebook CR11 and CR11 Flip models, both of which are based on Intel Alder Lake N CPUs, are among the new devices made exclusively for use in educational settings.
The 11.6-inch HD displays are a feature of the new Chromebook models from the Taiwanese computer manufacturer. An Intel N200 processor, 8GB of memory, and 128 GB of eMMC storage are all included in the CR11 (CR1102C). On the other side, the Chromebook CR11 Flip (CR1102F) is a flip model with touchscreen functionality, a movable stylus, and a 360-degree hinge.

The durable design of both laptops also includes rubber bumpers, spill-resistant keyboards, designs that have passed MIL-STD-810H testing, and designs that are shock and drop-resistant. The new Asus laptops include a modular design that makes it simple to replace components such as touchpads, displays, and keyboards in a matter of a few minutes. There were also new notebooks created as a portable option for IT professionals.
The USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot are all included with the Asus Chromebook CR11 and CR11 Flip in addition to two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C connectors. Besides those mentioned above, other notable features include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, a 50Wh battery, and a 45W USB Type C power converter.
The CR11 Flip model also contains an 8-megapixel camera that faces the outside world above the keyboard in addition to the 720p webcam and privacy shutter that are included with both variations. As a result, when the keyboard is flipped, you can snap images or movies just like a tablet thanks to the 360-degree hinge. In addition, the stylus, which is an optional accessory, can fit inside the CR11.
