Sergio Ramos, the legendary Spanish footballer, announced his retirement from international football on Thursday, 24 February 2023. The 36-year-old, who had represented Spain since 2005, is the most capped player in the history of Spain’s football team, with 180 appearances. He was also a part of the squads that won the FIFA World Cup in 2010 and the UEFA European Championships in 2008 and 2012.
