OnePlus has been steadily building its portfolio in India by diversifying its business, from phones to audio, TV & accessories and much more. Their significant move in 2022 for India had to be expanding its Nord lineup starting to budget to mid-range, it offered Nord CE 2 first, then the Nord CE 2 Lite and finally the Nord 2T.
While we lauded Nord CE 2 as being one of the best for its price, later it was discontinued, however, its brother Nord CE 2 Lite stays in India, and in fact, it’s the best-seller. Priced at just Rs.18,999, obviously, Nord CE 2 Lite is the cheapest OnePlus 5G smartphone out there and isn’t too fancy but very functional in its own regard.
In my review, I pointed out this is more of a generic smartphone with OnePlus branding, however, in the long run, it stood out pretty well. People have bought it because of the reliability that OnePlus has and at budget, it does the job pretty well, personally, I gave it to my father for use and he has been using it very well.
Even @rahul_roy also bought it for his mother, there’s a thing in its design, battery and overall that makes it very reliable for everyday usage. If someone is stuck on a tight budget but still needs a reliable everyday smartphone this OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G seems to do a good job and the Indian audience is loving it anyways!
