Apple TV+ is coming for a new comedy series titled ‘Shrinking’. The main person behind the series is Harrison Ford and Jason Segel. The new series contains a total of ten episodes that follow a grieving therapist named Jimmy. The man has forgone all of his training and takes a decision to tell his clients what he actually thinking about them.
At the time, when his years of training and ethics are away from the window, he concludes by making large impacts and changes in his client’s lives, which eventually leads to changes in his own life as well.
The story of the movie has introduced Jimmy as he fails to focus on his patients during their sessions while at work and gets himself taking painkillers to overcome the pain of losing his wife. One day, Jimmy just comes into his office to find Dr. Paul Rhodes, played by Ford, who tells his concern over the way he is coping with his grief.
Jimmy can’t come to terms with his own feelings, but he does begin to be brutally honest with his clients, which includes telling a woman to point-blank leave her husband for the emotional abuse. It seems that the freedom gives Jimmy a new lease on life, and starts to actually lead to some constructive change in his client’s lives. We can also watch him and his daughter find out how to move on from the pain of losing a loved one.
