IMOO Watch Phone range for Kids is now in India

You must be familiar with the name BBK Electronics. If not, it’s the parent company of Oppo and Vivo. There are a few more brands such as OnePlus and IQOO. IMOO is another brand, under the same BBK Electronics, which was announced years back as a performance sub-brand. IMOO is known for its kids’ only smartwatches with video calling capability. The brand brought the exact same lineup to India as well.

The full lineup contains two smartwatches – IMOO Watch Phone Z1 and IMOO Watch Phone Z6. The Indian pricing starts at Rs.9,999. There are two colour options for each model. You have Dark Green and Pink for IMOO Watch Phone Z1; on the other hand, you can pick from Green and Purple for the IMOO Watch Phone Z6. Both are available on Amazon India at present. IMOO Watch Phone Z1 and Z6 Features

Both the IMOO Watch Phones are specifically focused on kids. Though majority of the features are same for both Watch Phone Z1 and Watch Phone Z6, there are differences too. These come with support for video calls, but where the Watch Phone Z1 comes with a single 2MP wide-angle front camera, the Watch Phone Z6 features 8MP+5MP dual cameras. Now for video calling, the device needs connectivity correct? Parents can install nano-SIM in any of the wearables, there is Wi-Fi support, built-in GPS, and so on.

Parents and kids can take the advantage of 2-way calling and video calling features along with chat support with family members, class mode, stranger rejection mode, and emergency calls. The IPX8 certification ensures the unit stays protected from spills and splashes.

There are some more features available. Step counter to count the steps, obviously, and race mode to make your kid active.

There is another difference apart from the camera and that is the screen. Both are touch sensitive, however, the IMOO Watch Phone Z1 has a 1.3-inch IPS display and the IMOO Watch Phone Z6 has a 1.41-inch AMOLED screen.

Conclusion

All the features which the IMOO Watch Phone series are offering are aimed to help parents to track their kids whom that can’t provide smartphones. On the other hand, the watches can help children to connect with their parents in case of an emergency.

So, it’s time to take your call.
