TVF or The Viral Fever now becomes a tight room for making fantastic teenage drama series. The craze for Indian web series has reached another level by holding the hand of TVF. TVF has given many fantastic web series like Kota Factory, Aspirants, Tripplings, and Unmatched. Now, the OTT has entered the second season of another fantastic series, ‘The Pitchers’.
At first, the series premiered in 2015 and got a huge response from viewers. In the first season, it follows the tale of four friends Naveen, Jitu, Yogi, and Mandal who have left their jobs to start their own businesses. There are five episodes in the first season. The youngers who are thinking to start their own business will benefit hugely from this series. However, after seven years, the second season of the show come for the audience.
The famous OTT platform ZEE 5 dropped the trailer with the caption, “You waited. You supported. You manifested. The #Pitchers are here now. #PitchersOnZEE5, new season premiering 23rd Dec.” The new trailer begins with the voice of Naveen, just telling his business partners to get ready for a ‘new pitch’ Naveen is playing the role of the founder of the famous tech company ‘Pragati’ which has faced bankruptcy. He takes the responsibility of the company to get rid of this trouble and also test the friendships. People are indeed appreciating the trailer, but somehow the absence of Jitendra draws a line in their minds.
The director of the new season Vaibhav Bandoo had told in a statement, “season 2 of Pitchers are going to be a level up in just in terms of story but also visually the characters have evolved and so has the world of start-ups which they have to navigate. This show has always been about offering something new to the audience and we hope to live up to the love of the fans.”
The actor Sikander Kher added to Mid-Day, “Pitchers is an iconic show which should not have taken this long to return. But now that it is back and I am part of it, I could not have been more entrepreneur, and I have immense respect for what the team has managed to achieve.”

The second season feature Naveen Kastoria as Naveen Bansal, Arunabh Kumar as Yogendra Kumar Pandey, Abhay Mahajan as Yogendra Kumar Pandey, Abhay Mahajan as Saurabh Mandal, Aakankha Thakur as Saumya Maheshwari, Maavi Gagroo as Shreta, Jaimini Pathak as Rajat Khanna, Rajesh Sharma as Gary Bhujiawala, Sammer Saxena as Anit Bharadwaj, Abishek Banerjee as Bhati, Sunil Sinha, and Biswapati Sarkar.
