As per previous leaks, OnePlus Nord is the new mid-range smartphone from the brand that costs under $500. Yesterday the company put it up for its initial pre-order without knowing the actual specs of it or any further details about it.
But according to Notebookcheck‘s sources, the stock was exhausted within a minute. Obviously, people have complained about their frustration, that they were to pre-order the device.
Also, several comments on the @oneplus.nord Instagram page show that people were unable to place a pre-order even with the device even if they had them in their baskets.
However, be assured, because OnePlus will host additional pre-order events on July 8 and July 15. Both of these sales will start at 10:00 CEST. The pre-order event on July 8 will be a “Limited Pre-order”, while the pre-orders will be available for 24 hours on July 15.
But apparently, the launch date of the device remains uncertain, most probably, according to rumours, July 10 seems the date of global release.
OnePlus has now confirmed that the OnePlus Nord will feature a Snapdragon 765G SoC and have 5G connectivity. Additionally, the company even claims that the OnePlus Nord will have a “flagship-level camera” for under $500, which remains a point to be proven.
