Jamal Musiala is finally starting to put in the numbers that speak volumes with Bayern Munich. The youngster is enjoying a prominent role due to the absence of Thomas Muller, and he is taking the opportunity with both hands.

He has scored nine Bundesliga goals this season, and has 20 goal contributions across all competitions. Musiala has also earned several man of the match awards for his performances in 22/23, setting up a very impressive campaign.

The Germany international is heading into the World Cup with very good form, and could be an important part of Hansi Flick’s line-up. His Bayern Munich teammates Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry are also expected to make the squad to travel to Qatar later this month.

Bayern Munich consider Jamal Musiala an indispensable part of their future. Which is why they have tied him down for the long-term with a contract until 2026. His performances have been repaying the faith shown by Julian Nagelsmann, and he could become an elite player with consistency.

Many were surprised that Musiala did not win the Golden Boy award this year, with Gavi claiming the trophy. If the 19-year-old keeps his current form going, there is little stopping him from picking up the trophy next year.
